Feel Love Fury and drummer Kevin Cullen have decided to part ways on friendly terms, citing professional differences. The remaining members of the band wish Kevin the most sincere wishes of success in his future endeavours. The band is currently still on hiatus, spending most of their time writing and laying down tracks for future release. Thanks to everyone for their patience and words of encouragement. message dated sunday 03 november 2001 the recording sessions for the next feel love fury appearance on dawson's creek were completed this week. the band again recorded two cover songs and an original song. the cover songs, son of a preacher man and i want you to want me will feature busy phillips and katie holmes on vocals, respectively. the original song, what the hell, was hand-picked by the producers for the scene, which will be filmed next week. the recording sessions were well documented, as will be the filming of the show, so this time, there will be plenty of pictures for you to check out. stay tuned...

message dated thursday 11 october 2001 the season premiere of dawson's creek was last night. to our surprise, we came to discover that three original feel love fury songs were featured on the show. use of these songs had been discussed, but we weren't sure what was up until we actually heard them. so, check out the music page at dawson's creek for more details on 194, leadbelly, and seductive sexy. take a listen to the songs and pick up a copy of source soon. quantities are limited and they are going fast!
message dated wednesday 3 october 2001 the wb television show dawson's creek will be featuring members of feel love fury on the first episode of its fifth season on wednesday, october 10 (pushed back from oct. 3) with the premiere (#501) "the bostonians". this is exactly one week away. note: on the actual show, the members are portraying a cover band and this is not to be confused with the intentions or musical direction of feel love fury or its members. in addition to the cover songs that were decided upon by the dawson's creek producers for the band to record, one feel love fury original song was also requested for the show's fifth season... "seductive sexy" is the first professionally recorded single released by feel love fury since the release of source. it is now available for streaming and download via our music page, and for a limited time, a disc which includes songs from source and "seductive sexy" is available via our merchandise page. pictures of the recording session and show taping coming soon.... |
